this is so funky, i need it. i'm a big fan of having glass jars for flowers and knick knacks everywhere. this shelf has a cut out for a glass jar or whatever else you want to fit in there. clearly, i need this. from old new again.

i'm really liking these anthropologie lamp and candle holder. i love the beautiful texture of the gold painted wood, and the roughness of the candle holder would be the perfect touch to punch up a delicate table.

picnic kind of mood

it's a warm day in LA today. I've been happily enjoying the cool, winter(ish) weather and i'm still in a winter state of mind so I wouldn't mind if the sun went away for just a bit longer. however, days like these make me look forward to spring and summer. i've been obsessed with all things gingham lately but i'm holding out until spring time to break it all out. there's something really wholesome and fresh about it, always puts me in a good mood.
