Snug Harbor Cultural Center

took an amazing trip to the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, yes Staten Island, NY. it was INCREDIBLE! who knew SI had anything to offer! they additionally had a great zoo i'll post about later.

this great space comes from my very own mother! she transformed our back sun porch into a magazine worthy space-it's gorgeous! she's an antiques dealer and author by trade, and has an excellent eye for color. I think the space is bold and rich but still maintains a summer freshness. go mama!

new apartment!

i'm making the big move this weekend to my new apartment and i'm so excited! i've been collecting images for a while now for inspiration for the new place. Sorry if some of these are repeats.  And i'll also be posting some "before" pictures shortly!:
