Petit Coterie

The burlap pillows combine just the right amount of clean, simple type and vintage, antique flare. They're really quite lovely. check out Petit Coterie's shop on Etsy:

tents lights and garlands!

I'm definitely in a whimsical, romantic mood today. I have been staring at this photo for hours. The lights, the big white tent and the pennant garlands...everything about this inspires me to make something beautiful...still figuring out what that is...

a beach affair

Just something beautiful to look at, beautiful colors, amazing atmosphere. I really admire when a photograph can capture more than just color (though that's good enough for me). It's images like these that really take you somewhere and make you think up a story in your head. These images make me want to put on a puffy white sundress and sip a mimosa by the water.

rusty spoons

This image is so romantic and beautiful. I found it in a very old magazine at home and had to scan it in. The colors and the feel of it are so whimsical and soft, this kind of stuff puts me in a good mood!

Moroccan Inspired Dessert Table for Sunday Suppers

i know these pictures have been making their rounds already on the blogs, but i couldn't resist sharing them here. Pictured is the dessert table from Sunday Suppers by Karen Mordechai, photographed by Aran Goyoaga of Cannelle et Vanille.

Crocheted Beads

these crocheted beads caught my eye on etsy this morning for  being so unique and interesting. Their shape and of course their material make them really stand out, and as always, i love seeing people experiment with materials in unconventional ways:

Ô water bottle

I love funky bottles, whether it be juice, tea, water. I just saw these on the dieline, and I absolutely love the sleek bottle and the adorable, simple label. I want to buy 10 of these, empty them out and put a flower in each one. I love them!

Go to Public School

really cool cards from Public School. I remember the days of bringing in notes from mum for lame excuses about being late or sick. I love their simplicity with a little bit of edge. It's vintage and modern, and lots of fun!

sprinkles cupcakes!

I absolutely LOVE everything about Sprinkles Cupcakes, from the dots on top of their cupcakes, to their kraft paper boxes lined in pink on the inside. Their menus are absolutely beautiful, they have a great system that translates so well onto everything from the paper menus, the store decor and the cupcakes themselves. It doesn't hurt that their red velvet cupcake is my absolute favorite thing in the world.

current obsession

just found this picture, which is from the home of Elizabeth, the blogger behind Fine Little Day. i am totally obsessed with this wall. i want one in my house, asap.

antique calling cards

I bought these antique victorian calling cards at the Brimfield textiles show in may. How cool is it that people used to hand these out? I totally want to make my own. The type is to die for, and the red border around one of them is so unique and interesting.

beautiful straws

This image from donna hay really struck me. The colors are so cool, I love how the red pops right out. I love the idea of having an bunch of assorted straws out for a party, it brings so much personality to a table. Enjoy!

lovely inspiration

After a long night of feeling sick, and countless rainy days lately, I needed something to pick me up and this set of images did the trick. I love the soft and delicate color palette, the blues and the tans. They're lovely.

MOR packaging

There's something so beautiful and rustic about this MOR packaging. I love the use of wood, which often makes packages look sturdy and masculine, paired with soft colors and patterns, it definitely makes it feel a lot more whimsical and delicate. Enjoy!
